Working together

In order for counselling to be successful, the Counsellor - client relationship is paramount. I offer a free 20 minute introduction via telephone or video call. This is an informal chat where together we explore what has brought you to reach out, how I work, and any questions you may have. 

If we are a good therapeutic fit and we agree that I am able to offer the support you need, we can then arrange a session.

Online sessions

Working online allows you to attend sessions in your own home comforts with less time constraints due to not needed to travel. 

This is a great option for many reasons such as;

If you struggle to find the time to attend face to face sessions. 

If your means of travel are limited.

If you have physical difficulties.

Confidentiality is paramount so you must insure that you are able to attend online sessions in a quiet private space. 

 

 

Face to face 

I am able to offer face to face sessions in a calming, safe and confidential space. 

Working face to face is a great option for those who have limited options of privacy.

It can aid personal relationship development.

It also allows for more creative aspects of therapy to take place.

The location offers free parking.

In person sessions are subject to availability.

 

 

Person-centred

 

This approach focus' on your own perspective. This means that you will set the agenda for each of your sessions, at your own pace.

You are at the heart of the work, and are in control of the direction in which you take throughout the sessions.

 

Integrative
 

This allows me to draw on different therapeutic approaches and techniques throughout sessions to support your needs.
